The first surrealist play (written by Alfred Jarry)  is about Papa Turd- a power hungry fool who rises to power by manipulating the greed and hunger of his friends to take The Crown of Poland. A childish leader, he imprisons and kills everyone who disagrees with him until there’s nowhere to go but war…with Russia. Think Hamlet, Macbeth, The Count is Monte Cristo performed by a company of gross, crass, comedians.  Hijinks, slapstick, ghosts, nonsense and even a bear. This 90-min adventure is good for nothing if not a laugh.
