WT has lived in NYC since 2001 creating theatrical and visual works, and contributing to the field of arts education.
This year he is the recipient of the Flushing Town Hall space grant to develop two new works: a full length acrobatic dance theater piece called Babel and a play for young audiences called Dragon Story. Babel will have its world premiere this April.
Recently as a director, WT has directed and choreographed Children of Eden, Seussical and Bye Bye Birdie (Sitka Performing Arts Center).
He is also an actor, clown, dancer, designer, writer and devised theater collaborator. WT has performed with Salmon Spawn Theater, Spellbound Theater, Oberon, Boomerang, and many more. He has traveled with the Pheonix Woodwind Quintet, Long Island Philharmonic and Bronx Arts Ensemble performing Peter and the Wolf and Babar in schools, libraries and community centers for 11 years.
Working with fellow clown Christina Gelsone he spent 5 years running Fool’s Academy and touring shows in schools that teach curricula using slapstick and circus.
